LEE DRIVING SCHOOLS PLANS

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 2020 (please check back for updates)

We miss our students. For over 50 years, Lee Driving School has put student safety first and today is  no different. Whether it's safety behind the wheel or safety in keeping our distance we are here for you.

On 3/29/2020 the State of Michigan changed rules about on-line learning for Drivers Education (according to the Detroit Free Press):

Driver education courses can be partly completed online for the first time ever in Michigan under an executive order issued by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Driver education instructors can hold Segment 1 and Segment 2 instruction in a virtual classroom; however, the final written exam and behind-the-wheel instruction must be administered once the state of emergency has passed, according to a memo from the Michigan Department of State.Eligible for online instruction are students who already started a course, as well as customers who had previously contacted a provider to schedule a course in April 2020.

If you have already registered we will be contacting you directly.

If you want to move your class to a later session, please reach out to your respective teacher and we will work to make all accommodations.

Please know we are in direct and continuous contact with the State of Michigan’s Department of Education for any updates. We’re dedicated to doing right by our students and the communities we serve. Thank you, and together let’s stay safe and healthy.
